How do I return an item?

Rooney will gladly accept returns for items within 14 days of order delivery. The goods must be free from wear, stains, odor or any condition that would prevent them from being sold as new. Returned items must have their original tags attached and must be accompanied with a copy of the receipt. Items sold for a discount or on Sale are not eligible for return. To send back goods, please email info@rooneyshop.com for a return authorization or click the link above to start your return. Footwear that is categorized by a release date is not eligible for a return or refund. 

You will be charged a small return shipping fee of CAD 10$ (this fee can vary based on your location), this will be deducted from your refund. A shipping label will be sent to you following a short returns approval period. Some returns will not be approved based on shipping country or as of yet unknown reasons. Rooney will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to the Rooney Returns Office.

If any shipping fees were applied to the original order, those shipping fees are not refundable. 

Sale items are final sale. We can try to accommodate exchanges on Sale items but please contact us first to make arrangements, we reserve the right to deny a claim. Some items may not apply. Items sold at Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged. We will offer a one time price match in the form of online or in store credit in the case of a recently discounted product that has been purchased within 7 days at regular price.

Sale Item Exceptions: Items bought with discount codes or during in-season promotions (Valentines Day, Mothers Day Etc..) Can be returned for a refund (some exceptions apply). Only if those items were Not already marked down. If an item is already discounted before the Promotion/Discount Code then that item is considered a Final Sale and is not eligible for a return or exchange. 

Please note that swimming and apothecary products (candles, creams, perfumes, soap) are not eligible for returns or exchange. 

Have you received my returned order yet?

A confirmation email will be sent once we have received your returned goods. This may take 5-7 days after you have sent out the return but generally this process is quick once we've received your return. 

Warranty

All products purchased from ROONEY, including apparel, footwear, accessories, home goods, apothecary that may be classified as dangerous goods purchased from ROONEY are subject only to the applicable warranties of their respective manufacturers if applicable. Warranties are provided by the manufacturers and not by ROONEY. Where permitted by law, ROONEY disclaims all warranties and conditions relating to any products sold or distributed by ROONEY, and will not be liable for failure to use any product in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. 
If an item appears to be defective we will try our best to represent you with the brand in question and request a claim with the brand, this can only be done with a product purchased within 1 year of the date of purchase from ROONEY.
